Tivoli Gardens

Today we went to Tivoli Gardens. It’s a BEAUTIFUL amusement park here in Copenhagen. It’s actually the second oldest amusement park in the world!
Walt Disney was inspired by Tivoli when he was making his own parks.
My friend Marisol has season passes and was able to get us in for free, YAH!

There are gardens and fountains everywhere, along with lots of rides and restaurants.

There were so many rides, only a few that Pearl could ride, and we picked this one. I think it was too lame even for a one year old.

There was an awesome playground that Pearl had so much fun at.

We were all getting hungry so we went to Wagamama. It’s an awesome noodle bar.

It was REALLY good!!!!!  They even had good service, which is incredibly rare here.

It was getting close to naptime for Pearl (and me) so we headed back home. Today was cleaning day at our apartment. It was wonderful to walk into a CLEAN apartment……..and someone else cleaned it!  I am becoming spoiled, and I love it.
I made chili for dinner that was surprisingly good. I have had trouble finding good spices here, especially cumin, so I was worried it wouldn’t taste right.
After dinner we just played, threw a ball with Pearl, sang her a few songs….and then it happened. Pearl had a massive blowout.  It got all over her clothes, the couch….it was not pretty.
We were debating just cutting her clothes off and hosing her off on the deck.
Instead, we just cleaned her up like good parents.

After all that hard work we deserved some ice-cream, right?
So we walked to Paradis and got some.
Seth got Ferrero Rocher ice-cream and I got Tiramusi.  Pearl ate some of each. It was really good.

Also….someone at our church gave Pearl a new snowsuit. It’s adorable.

I am almost always the one taking pictures, so it’s rare to find a cute picture of Pearl AND me…..but I actually snapped one today
